I'm still thinking about this.
I originally had it as "I know! I'll launch a new blog!!" and the person to whom I am married did her job, gesturing like the Ghost of Christmas Future to the vision of a discarded CRT on the sidewalk, and on the screen flickered a window containing exactly seven posts, the span of time between each the square of the previous, and the final post was two years old. "Aagh! Spirit, show me no more!" I wailed, clutching at my old-timey nightcap.
