⚡️🇺🇸⚓️ NEW - The U.S. Navy is considering renaming an aircraft carrier currently under construction in honor of Donald Trump.
The future aircraft carrier was originally to be named after Doris “Dorie” Miller, an African-American sailor who became a Pearl Harbor hero after taking control of an anti-aircraft machine gun—without any training—to fire on Japanese planes in 1941.
The Navy is now reportedly considering naming another ship after Miller and nominating the sailor, who was killed in action in 1943, for the Medal of Honor, the highest U.S. military honor. (CNN)
