My most "fun" interaction with gliders ...
I was flying along one day and saw two gliders somewhere off to the left and ahead of me. Knowing what gliders are like - no concept of "straight and level" - I checked back on them a couple of seconds later (after continuing my scan for traffic, instruments etc) to see where they'd got to. To find they were nowhere near where they had been.
Eventually - another couple of seconds later - I saw one of them going maybe 100' directly beneath me, and the other one maybe 100' directly above me. I'm absolutely certain that they had me in sight the whole time and were taking the piss.
