Most people who oppose the #hijab and other head coverings just hate foreigners. But many couch this in feminist terms of patriarchal repression. They can't have talked to many hijabi ladies. A lot of them are funny, saucy and outspoken -- not victims. ❤️
A hijab is largely analogous in function to a bikini top, but more associated with proud identity.
