Fascinating! The original VT320 fonts are 15x12 or 9x12, and neither of those measurements match any of the ones in your screenshot. I wonder what makes those "VT320" fonts, then? Is it just the character set? The encoding?
If you want to mess with converting fonts, I recommend the Java tool "Bits 'n' Picas"; it's what I've been using for converting BDF to crisp, pixelly TTF files.
