I wasn't before I met my wife. She played in HS and a bit in college. On our first date we watched Nadal and Djokovic play for the 2011 Wimbledon title. I always cheer for the underdog and accidentally became a Djokovic fan. It has payed out well.
I started actually playing a few years ago with one of my sons who wants to play professionally.. we'll see how that goes. I think he could be very good if he ever figures out how much work it would take. Maybe not pro but, make it to the state tournament in HS. And play in college.
So I am currently pretty good for an 11 year old. But still looking for adults to play with so I can figure out just how bad I am. I am decent at ping pong though.
Rooting for Shelton to win this thing. Zverev got his major title and can retire happy now.
