It would be great if I could buy 1 or more 2-3 meter turbines, which are fairly silent, and have them 50-100 meters away from the house. Out of sight, and without disturbing any neighbours. That would add some requirements when it comes to the size of the plot, but it would be completely doable, and potentially affordable.
Ideally I would aim for 1 hectare or so, if the plot is remote enough.
