This is why I cringe every time some tech bro mouths off that Europe doesn't "innovate" the way America/Silicon Valley does.
I mean, they're right in a way. Thing is, we should be *thankful* that's the case! 😄
Europe is way, way ahead of us when it comes to sustaining non-commercial democractic technology which serves the commons rather the corporate shareholders.
And so much of what I benefit from in computing these days is possible because of 🇪🇺
