I strongly believe one thing that makes someone a good leader is their ability to make people feel not only seen and heard, but also *empowered*.

Part of that stems from emotional intelligence, which I feel is lacking in many of today’s leaders. Being able to gauge a group of people’s needs and then create an environment and culture where those needs can be met is a powerful skill.
