The root of the word Kirk is Scottish, it means church.
I like what Candance Owens is doing but In my gut I think that they killed all Abrahamic religions when they killed Charlie.
These religions came from the dessert, the silence, where the ego spoke to the man.
I grew in the jungle where silence do not exists. Here the indigenus religions (long ago prohibited with blood and fire by the mercy of the almighty) were dictated to humans by the sound of birds and insects.
Worst or better religions, I don't know but I dare you to really hear and not be amazed of the message of this part of nature.
