We might have the same model. Economy. Only intrerface is a single knob on top for temperature. No frills.

In retrospect, I'm glad I got this model. The amount of time it takes to dry varies across apple varieties, and probably within them too depending on how full I load up the trays. Not much point in having a timer IMO.
