Dan, pedestrians are stupid by design. Too many distractions. I don't like the idea that our society devalues professionalism and protocols and human life. You shouldn't splatter a child in a cross walk while trying to put out a grease fire. You should do what you're TRAINED to do. And that's not to go tearing ass, deathrace 2k style, through a crosswalk with civilians. And anyone that claims they've never been distracted is a self righteous hypocrite.
