Liz Kendall thinks that claiming the cuts to benefits for the disabled will save the welfare state justifies them;

but, given the range of ways that money could be raised (from ending forms of corporate welfare, to increasing wealth taxes) it's notable that the group Kendall chose to provide the funds (by having support withdrawn) are vulnerable & for the most part older people with a range of disabling health conditions.

It remains indefensible!
