But even if Google is “just one” of the possibilities this would still be a cause for concern. The EU has already made a statement about technological independence, especially from US Big Tech.
Advertising AliBaba’s auth as one of the supported auth mechanisms in the EU would also raise concerns - then I don’t know why we have to feel a bit more biased towards Google auth.
