"content": "The August 1941 issue of Lev Gleason's Daredevil Comics included the only story ever written about the character \"Pioneer\". It was illustrated by someone named J. Gahr, and I love the way it looks. The style reminds me of German Expressionist woodcuts, but colored with bright primary colors.
