Well they do say that a lot of the structure is set up in a "quantum" sort of way. So whats to say this isn't precisely that, a gyroscope operating at an event horizon or something? I meant that in the sense - just because you think you fully understand the physics of a thing in isolation, absolutely does not mean you know everything there is to know about its behavior in all instances.

Throw in the concept of a 4th dimension and all your known physics and assumptions are out the window.
