My use of "taste" here comes directly from Jay Springett (npub19t5…zgsa)'s most recent couple of Permanently Moved episodes (https://thejaymo.net/permanentlymoved/), which have helped to nudge me from the bare and shivering idea of “I bet I could say interesting things on this topic" to "I bet I can make a truly unique thing that only I can make, because I want to see it exist, so that I might admire it and occasionally link to it 15-plus years later.”
