Wow. The Interior Minister of Morocco confirming that the massive influx of illegal crossings into to the Spanish exclave of Ceuta was incited by an online campaign that falsely claimed the border was open and that there would be no legal consequences for entering Spain and the EU.
Sounds like an Op to me.
The question is, perpetrated by whom?
USA? Trump has made his displeasure clear of late.
Russia? Spain remains one of the most pro immigrant countries, is Putin trying to distract EU leaders to take attention away?
Israel? Spain has made their opposition to the genocide in Gaza and their support for Palestinians clear.
Iran? Mixing it up and sowing chaos (probably with Russia’s help but maybe not)
