The spread of social media bans has more to do with political convenience and a desire to censor than "safety".

As seen in 🇦🇺🇹🇷🇲🇾 (soon 🇬🇧🇨🇦) these bans are technically dubious, threaten online speech, and lock young people out of future technology and social opportunities. We must oppose them at all costs.
