➤ Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released video it says shows the moment its forces struck the Safe Sea (also reported as Safe Sia / Safesea Vishnu), a Marshall Islands–flagged vessel, in the northern Persian Gulf near Iraq.
➤ Iranian state media said the ship was considered linked to the U.S. military and claimed it ignored repeated warnings from the IRGC Navy before being targeted.
➤ In the video, a man can be heard shouting “Allahu Akbar… the destruction of an American tanker in the northern Persian Gulf… I obey you Khamenei!”
