was discussing with [@MLE_online](https://social.afront.org/@MLE_online ) a philosophical quandary with practical ramifications: at what stage of disassembly does a bike cease to be a bike, and instead become a collection of bike parts? what are your opinions on this pressing matter?
the practical reason is that bikes have to go on the front rack of the bus, where there are usually only two or three spots, but bike parts are just normal, nonhazardous items that anyone could bring onboard.
