I find that attitude utterly condescending. So while I fully support the idea of withholding your personal information from companies who sell it to anyone who is willing to pay, I can't say this group deserves people's attention at this time. So, yes, do their checklists if you want to have more private service providers. But no, don't bother becoming a member. Or do, I'm not the boss of you. 😝
