Agree. Sad that bitcoin didn't implement privacy features in the first place, that's how it is and not bound to change.
But maybe it's not that bad that Bitcoin remains simple and conservative, since privacy protocols are evolving all the time. I like the idea of having a stable baseline to fall back to, even if it isnt private (Save in bitcoin spend in Monero type shi).
