Sorry to hear that, and hope you find a way to cope. I'll share my experience and perhaps it will give you an option.
I'm not very techy, so when I first tried Ubuntu, it bullied me so much that I gave up on Linux.
Then after some years I heard of Linux Mint, and I tried it out but on Dual Boot, and so whenever I got frustrated with Linux I'd revert to Windows. It took me about a year to get comfortable enough with LinuxMint and make the complete switch.
