My buddy went full autism on the manual press style and he made old great espresso.
He weighs the beans, heats the parts before pressing the shot, watches the press in a mirror and times how long it takes to press the shot.. among other things. It was fun to watch him go down the rabbit hole. I'll ask him what he thinks about the other options
