First, I want to make sure I got this right. The Linux devs (the leaders I assume, as I know nothing about how the team is structured) is pushing for ai review of human written code that then is put into the kernel. I don't agree with it or understand why they'd be for it at all, but I find it hard to imagine throwing out decades of progress, distros, and overall options because the devs did something stupid. Now, if they IMPLEMENT "generated" code, I will be part of the inevitable outraged response, but don't they know this kind of thing isn't welcome? I still can't get over the fact that they thought it was a good idea, and it makes me worry I've been telling people to switch to something which is becoming corrupted at the core as well, even though it being FLOSS is supposed to prevent that shit but I digress.
Apologies for the long messages.
