NHS plans - a short thread:
The problem with successive NHS plans, Labour launches a new one this week, is that they always involve re-organisation (itself costly), and lofty ambitions (usually about re-emphasising prevention), but really are intended to deal with one major issue - the overall cost of public health care.
So the latest plan may have some good pints, but unless is properly funded to removes staff shortages & repair buildings will get nowhere fast....
