“Citizenship, then and now, was the right to have rights — to freely participate in our political community." ~ Chief Justice John Roberts—the lynchpin of his justification for his holding in the Birthright Citizenship case.

That's one of the most egregiously false claims I've ever heard from a Supreme Court Justice, or ever written in a Supreme Court holding.

You don't have rights because you're a citizen, you have them because you're a sapient being who reciprocally respects the equal rights of others.

This ruling effectively claims that only citizens have rights. And it will be used to so rule in the courts.
