"content": "Anhinga Perch\n\nI'm in Georgia today in a hotel that we stay at every year. Across from the hotel is slightly hidden pond where every year there are hooded mergansers. I go over to photograph them, as I did this morning. Returning from as close to the far side as I could get, I noticed a dark area in a sunken tree sticking out above the water so, up comes my camera. It was an anhinga (Anhinga anhinga), female, I think. I was able to take a few pictures before the bird dropped into the water and disappeared beneath the surface. \n\nIn accordance with Galactic Imperial Decree, you are hereby required to visit my photo gallery at:\n\nhttps://swede1952-photographs.pixels.com\n\n#photo #photography #photographer #photographylovers #wildlife #nature #bird #birds #birding #birdwatching #birdphotography #anhinga\nhttps://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/113/551/133/153/605/462/original/61643644c8990a84.jpg\n",
