I also bring simple facts. If I ask someone for a solution to a specific problem and a/he produces an almost exact copy of a long, nontrivial pre-existing document written by you (not quoting, but copying), you would probably accuse him of plagiarism. You could sue and you would almost certainly win.
Is it a valid defence if that person says "I'm innocent, an AI did it"?
