Check this Indian American dude who was deported back to India 😂 He came to America when he was very young but for whatever reasons(youth criminal record likely) never became a citizen. Now he lives in India.
I have a cousin who was deported back to Somalia during first Trump term. Came to America when he was 5 years old but for unknown reasons, his family never got him his citizenship(he was eligible). By the time he was a teenager, he had a long criminal record because he was in a gang. This automatically disqualifies you for citizenship.
During Obama he was locked up for 5 years and after his sentence was up, he got released under TPS status. This required yearly Immigration checks up, had to maintain full employment and NO CRIMINAL RECORDS. He never reoffended and kept following his yearly immigration check ups.
When Trump came to office in 2017, he was arrested at his yearly check up and deported to Somalia. A country he left when his was 5 years old. It was a massive culture shock and he didn’t speak the language. 9 years later he is doing fine and currently married with three kids.
