D23, 2026: Pixar Animation Studios Unveils New Original Film “Ghost Market” Slated For Spring 2028.
A good haunt is coming.
As part of the Disney Entertaiment Showcase, Pete Docter took the stage at the Honda center at D23, 2026 to announce their new original offering “Ghost Market”.
The film slated for Spring 2028 is directed by Trevor Jimenez (“Win Or Lose”) and as you can see, it features the same heartwarming feel and experimentation of that show.
The animated horror comedy film follows young boy, Kyle, walking into a dark, empty kitchen. He’s just been forced to move to Hawaii by his family. Kyle will find himself in a new world between the afterlife and life inspired by Asian culture.
