GM💜
As I wrote, I‘ve been invited to paint live at an ecstatic dance event yesterday.
What an experience, what a learning..
I‘ve not been sure in the beginning if I would let other ppl paint on the canvas, but soon ppl asked me, so I just let it go and let it flow..
In this process, I felt more like a spaceholder for creativity, a „guardian of a creative space“, watching out to clean the brushes and the water, and to keep the event location clean🙏
I liked this role as a „guardian“ (as this might fit well to my 2nd name „Irmgard“😅), but what has been created on the canvas definitely did and does not feel like „my painting“..🙃
So the most challenging part of the process was, when ppl came by after the dance, and looked at the painting as if this would be „my painting“…
I am still processing what I learned in this experience.
At the moment, „Don‘t give a fck what others think“ is very present.
What feels save to say is:
I won‘t do it this way again for sure.
To explore our boundaries we have to let them go and go beyond.
When been beyond, we can set boundaries as a result of a conscious exploration - not as a result of fear of the unknown.
Yeah, that‘s it. Welcoming new experiences beyond so far boundaries and limitations, in order to set conscious boundaries in the now and the future.
I like to create a painting.
And I like to be a guardian of a creative space.
But, these are different stories, that need to be communicated clearly.
I don‘t like to mix it. Period.
Cheers and LFG😅🚀🤙🏻
