It also looked like he was hit in the chest and it deflected up to his neck, it kinda looks like he was wearing plates too.
He was moving about a bit and gesturing as he spoke. When he lowered the mic he also stopped moving and just gave a clean shot. Not wanting to shoot through things is pretty basic shit too because even hunters know that shooting through brush is gonna fuck you if you clip a branch.
Now would someone with hunting experience want him dead? Idk.
