Indeed. From what I saw on the fediverse, people were complaining that their account setup was being immediately rejected with no explanation and no appeal.
I can't recall issues with hetzner once you're an established customer, but I could be wrong.
I've been using them for a little over a year, and perhaps I'm one of the lucky ones, but my experience has been fine.
