Post GN fun:
Kid 2 asked me to allow her to install Duolingo on her tablet (she’s 8 and can only access a limited number of apps and actually no site, unless I unblock it via parental app).
Well, she sees me doing Duolingo, I allowed her to do it.
She starts learning chess to beat her father in it (her words.)
And she starts a freaking Portuguese course.
(Brazilian) Portuguese is my native language and I have been speaking it to her since she was born.
She of course, gets everything right in the course.
I’ll give up trying to understand it. 🤣 let’s see how long her streak goes. I doubt she’ll beat mine, lol.
