Bitcoin has sat on its arse for far too long while the world innovates around it
Proper governance over the core developers has been missing for far too long, they let in questionable people who made terrible changes that allowed in spam on the blockchain, now bitcoin knots is fighting back against that terrible change. Those who pushed for those changes have slithered off the core design team and others have been reported to have had very questionable morals
You cannot sit there and not innovate, or tell the world quantum isn't a threat or effectively sit there hardly communicating as a project and expect to survive long term, the market want risk assurance, Bitcoins silence in terms of roadmaps and public communication is so poor that is hurting it badly
