#dendrite is looming ever closer. it may shortly build the lattice out of a set of inputs and settle at a terminal point that it will become quiescent, until it gets more input
the last thing that showed up was an oscillation caused by an error in the algorithm that was generating the code from the lattice. this created duplicate items that kept on being fed back in and failing to fit because they were redundant.
