Asserting that you don't have leverage implies that the decision has been taken away from you; that you are somehow required to watch the sporting events that they are offering at premium prices. This is incorrect. Of course you are free to make your own value judgments to decide whether what they're offering is worth what they're charging to you, but you are in no way forced to watch that content. That decision is still yours, and you have the ability (if not the willingness) to say no.
