I mean, it's not that I don't think they'll try.
I just don't think they have the juice to pull it off cleanly, which means we enter a phase of realignment between the executive branch, the military, and the people in which we have to figure out how to remove them from power outside of the "law".
I also think that as shallow as it is, the USian obsession with "free and fair elections" simply cannot allow the kind of hamfisted election interference MAGA will engage in.
