That's interesting - maybe you can vote the age back down after the bubble of us boomers and genxers die off! :-)
I do know people who have retired and volunteer - I've always volunteered since I joined a service club at 17.
I also have known - mostly men - who retire to the couch and watch tv and die soon after from doing FA, so...
Back in 1965 when the CPP came in people were dying at 60-65 or so, depending on being male or female.
