I was mentally comparing then recently to cicadas or locusts. Every two years, or so, right in time for elections, they crawl out of the ground and devour everything in sight.

Remember how the BLM protests died, the very second Biden won the election? Did police brutality get magicked away, overnight? The police aren't even a federal force, they're only at the state or local level. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
