While its unclear whether its an increase in incidents, or an increase in parents willingness to report them, the rise n London (which is likely to reflect national trends) of children attacking their parents (violently) is another form of domestic violence that seems to effect between 5-10% of all families.
To some extent it seems this may have been driven by the familial tensions of lockdown, but remains a social issue which needs some attention!
