🕊11 years after her death, we remember Sandra Bland, and recommit ourselves to the fight for justice and for an entirely new system, free of racist police brutality!
Bland was a Black Lives Matter activist and vocal advocate against injustice. In July 2015, Bland was pulled over by a Texas state trooper for failing to signal a lane change. She was taken into custody at Waller County Jail, and three days after her arrest, was supposedly found hanging in her cell.
