Seeking Permission, Not Power

Voting, at its core, is just another form of seeking external validation—an attempt to legitimize our choices by relying on the approval of others. We cast our vote, hoping it will somehow validate our autonomy, but in truth, we’re still asking for permission from a system that doesn’t recognize our true sovereignty. When we rely on others to decide our fate, we forfeit the power to determine it ourselves. True freedom comes from within, not from the illusion of choice offered by external systems. It’s a cycle of validation, not empowerment.
