Non-custodial multisig wallet Safe introduces Safenet, a decentralized transaction security network. $SAFE holders can delegate tokens to 6 validators: Greenfield, Gnosis, Safe Labs, Rockaway, Blockchain Capital, & Core Contributors GmbH.
Validators review transactions against security rules. Approved transactions get cryptographic proofs, preventing unverified executions via the Safe Guard module. Genesis validators must stake 3.5M $SAFE.
This transforms $SAFE from a governance token to a staking asset with real utility. Staking rewards, slashing, and fees details TBD.
