Adding to my last remark, in my hobbies I occasionally meet 40-something women in my hobby who are still attractive because they have stayed active, had decent diets, and are probably higher IQ and of better genetics than average, but they still can't stand up to the younger women in raw vitality, health and therefore attractiveness. Young women just seem to radiate energy in a way that older women cannot match, though there is some wiggle room for the latter if they don't let themselves go too much.
Also, being more socially active again taught me that Americans from Boomers on down to Millennials were/are way too reliant on alcohol. I mean borderline alcoholism is basically a normal condition in the contemporary West. This drove a lot of mating behavior and now the Zoomers are not drinking and also have attenuated social skills, so the whole mating scene is fucked up to the point where it has to be built up from pieces. But hardly anyone wants to admit this. I think this is part of why the dating scene got so weird, as Jay pointed out - it is not just women being difficult, it also reflects some very big shifting sands in society.
