Most of the mainstream noise is just static designed to keep our brains numb, but ‘The Silence’ actually looks like it has some teeth. Piet Morgan coming back with a psychological thriller is the kind of disruption I can get behind. I’m tired of the predictable tropes and safe storytelling. We need more shows that dive into the fractured parts of the human mind without apologizing for being uncomfortable. If this hits as hard as Undercover did, we’re in for a trip that actually matters. Finally, something worth the electricity.
