What saddens me more than anything are the countless individuals online that chastise any action the government takes because they know everything. They read on the internet somewhere about this one thing that is non-plausible suspicion so they push some sensational headline. Emboldened by retweets and zaps said sensational headline is blasted all over the interwebs. But when met with the slightest bit of humility, semblance of an objective question, and an ounce of logical discourse, their fictional narrative evaporates. Of course, there’s no redaction and the only consequence is rot of sense of honor, duty, and integrity on a broad scale.

"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."
-George Orwell

Most Americans pervert that freedom. They trade their lot of a more perfect union’s offer of hard work, family, and integrity for drive-through food-stuffs, SSRIs, and hedonism of any and every pleasure. Yes, they should have the freedom to speak out against their country, but they ought to have the intellectual honesty to consider why something is just so.
