This is totally wrong from the OP. No one can see your total Bitcoin balance, no one can see all your transactions because it is not possible to tie all transactions to the same wallet ( maybe in some cases but not all the time)
To get all this information you would need the xpub which shows everything. No one puts the xpub public, this would be the same as if someone puts his Secret View Key (Monero) online.
